Open Question: why are my kidneys hurting?

Well I think it's my kidneys, it's my lower back ether side of my spine. it's not really excruciating pain but a constant dull ache that is making me feel uncomfortable. Any ideas what could be coursing this, it's been going on for 3 days now!
