Open Question: switched from loestrin to tri sprintec...?

so my obgyn switched me from loestrin to tri sprintec bc the loestrin was causing my period to come every two weeks. ive been on tri sprintec for this month and today i was slated to start my placebos and begin my period but my period didnt come today. is this normal?
