An independent conservative candidate to the House of Representatives from Virginia, USA, admitted on Wednesday (27) having an affair with an underage student when he was a professor of gymnastics in the year 1970, the second site "Huffington Post".
"I never tried to hide I had a homosexual affair," said Linda Wall in an interview with The Associated Press. "If any person gives a Google on my name, will find. Forty years ago I was a different person. It was a large consumer of marijuana, with an impaired judgment and made some bad choices, "he said.

In an affidavit as part of a defamation suit moved by former Republican candidate Paul Jost against it and Senator Thomas K. Norment Jr. in 2006, Linda Wall admitted having sex with a minor.
The conservative candidate said she had been discharged from the school after a director had confronted her about the accusation.
After the event, Wall said he converted to Christianity, changed his sexual orientation and stopped using drugs. She ran for Parliament in Virginia with a platform that includes social issues and is defined as "ex-gay".
The candidate is not alone in facing ethical questions in the state election to be held in November. Republican Matt Fariss was quoted in a 2002 court order to protect a woman, and has been sentenced to two incidents for illegal possession of weapon and drunken driving. Democrat Connie Brennan already has several convictions for violating the law on hunting animals.
