Lei Clijsters deceased from lung cancer

Ex-Red Devil Lei Clijsters is Sunday at the age of 52
deceased to the effects of lung cancer.

Clijsters played in the 80 and 90 to include KV Mechelen and the Red Devils. After his playing career he was coach, but he said goodbye to football his daughter Kim tennis guide.

They were the daughters of Lei Clijsters who reported the sad news.

"Kim Clijsters and each reporting the death of their beloved father, Sunday at 13.35u," it sounds in a statement.

"Lei has gone peacefully in the presence of his most beloved. The cremation will take place in intimate circle. '"Kim and any questions the family's privacy be respected at this difficult time."

Lung cancer.

Early 2008 when the diagnosis of his disease was determined, Kim decided not to follow other therapies. He was last seen in public in June 2008 at the wedding of his daughter each with Jelle Van Damme.

Lei Clijsters, the fight against cancer ultimately lost.
