Until Wednesday, Orange County's deadliest mass killer to date was Edward Charles Allaway, who killed seven co-workers in a shooting spree at Cal State Fullerton in July 1976.
On Feb. 24, 2008, five died and another boy was wounded when Orlando Cho killed his wife at their Yorba Linda condominium and shot his children in their bed.
