Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux hit up Christie's Artists for Haiti auction in New York on Friday night and they didn’t go home empty-handed.

Theroux did the bidding on the 6-foot Glenn Ligon abstract titled “Stranger #44,” while Aniston clapped enthusiastically after the win, reports US magazine.

Aniston picked up the artwork, called Stranger #44, an abstract 2011 work of oil, charcoal and graphite on canvas, by Glenn Ligon, at the `Artists for Haiti` auction in New York.

"Aniston, who was in the room, clapped enthusiastically after [Theroux`s] winning bid," a source said.

The auction, co hosted by Ben Stiller, benefits health and education programs in Haiti, with artists donating their works for the cause.

The couple also attended a dinner the following night thrown by Ben Stiller for his charity, The Stiller Foundation.

Aniston is good friends with the actor and his wife Christine Taylor, and she and Theroux holidayed with the couple in Hawaii over the summer.
